The order lives in one person’s inbox
A quote went out, the supplier replied, somebody confirmed something. Who, when and for how much can only be reconstructed by reading a thread one person can see. When they are on holiday, the site stops.

A PDF arrives with thirty line items. Is that a good price? Nobody knows, because nobody tracks the market price of those items. It gets signed on gut feeling.

The construction phase lives in the site manager’s head. When a date slips, the orders slip with it — but only in their head. On paper it shows up when the material fails to arrive.

Nothing leaves without your click
Materia drafts the email, fills in recipients, subject, body and attachments, and puts it in the approval queue. A human always has to press send. With orders worth hundreds of thousands, that is exactly how you want it.
Explainable automation, not a black box
The next-step planner, the status derivation and the risk flags are rules, not a model’s guess. For every suggestion you can trace the exact date or status that triggered it. We only bring AI in where rules fall short — reading non-standard PDF quotes.
A price you can verify
Materia tracks prices at eleven supplier e-shops and refreshes them every night. When a quote arrives, it compares it line by line against the market price and, with a ±5 % threshold, flags what is cheaper, on par or more expensive.
Projects and items
Every project knows its phase and what it is missing
A project is created once. It immediately gets eleven construction phases and twenty-six pre-configured material categories, each with a default supplier.
Eleven phases from foundations to handover
Foundations, shell, windows and doors, roof, chimney, heat pump, electrics, plumbing, floors, sanitary and tiling, handover. Advancing a phase recalculates what comes next.
Statuses derive from dates
Fill in the requested, ordered, delivered or installed date and the status advances on its own. A manual override such as “blocked” sticks until you change it yourself.
Colours you can read across the room
Green done, yellow in progress, red needs attention — for example material that arrived but nobody installed. No drilling into detail needed.
Readiness score and risk overview
What share of items is done, which quote requests hang unanswered, what lags behind the construction phase, and where price diverged from the quote.
Communication
The whole correspondence lives on the project, not in one inbox
Materia connects to your company mailbox over IMAP and SMTP. Outgoing and incoming mail is paired to a specific project and item, so the whole team sees the history.
Replies pair themselves
Project and item tags go into the subject. When the supplier replies, Materia files the message back onto the right order — even a week later.
Conversation status at a glance
New, waiting on supplier, supplier replied, confirmed, done, needs attention. Derived from message direction and content, overridable by hand.
Sending that does not give up
A queue with automatic retries from thirty seconds up to two hours. Sent mail is mirrored into your Sent folder, so it shows up in Outlook too.
Spam that should not have been spam
Materia reaches into the spam folder too, but only for messages from a thread it knows and from senders you have already written to.
Price quotes
AI reads the quote, rules compare it with the market
Materia recognises that an attached file is a price quote, breaks it into line items and compares them against the prices it has been tracking.
PDF and Excel, Czech and international formats
Article code, description, quantity, unit and total price, currency, quote date and validity. It understands both “1 234,56 Kč” and “9,820.00”, and will not mistake a VAT summary for a line item.
AI only where rules fall short
Standard quotes are read by a deterministic parser. When it struggles — a scan, an unusual layout — a language model steps in, and the result is badged so you can see where the data came from.
A ±5 % threshold decides what is expensive
Every line gets a label: cheaper, on par with the market, or more expensive. An argument for your supplier negotiation you can open up in a chart.
A system that learns from your corrections
Once you manually assign an unknown supplier or match a line to a product, Materia remembers the rule and applies it across every other project.
Price tracking
Prices at eleven suppliers, refreshed every night
Paste a product link and Materia takes it from there. Every night at three it walks all tracked items and records the current price.
Price history in a chart
With or without VAT, any time window, and a click on the chart opens every reading from that day.
The same product at several suppliers
Materia suggests that two listings are probably the same product at different shops. You confirm, and from then on you see the prices side by side.
Even shops that fight off bots
Some suppliers hide prices behind JavaScript or bot protection. Materia gets around it through their catalogue API or a browser in the cloud.

One button starts tracking every item from a received quote — or from the entire quote queue across all projects.

It sits alongside what you already use
Materia does not want to replace your construction system. It hooks into it, reads its documents and adds the layer you have been missing.
Stavario, read-only
Project documents, invoices, GPS and site address, project codes. Materia never writes into Stavario — it only pulls what it needs.
Budgets and specifications from PDF
It finds the budget and specification among the project documents, extracts line items and prices, and links them to your order items. Zero-price lines get marked “do not order”.
Your mailbox, not ours
Seznam, Google, Active24 or your own server. Credentials are encrypted and your mail stays where it was.
Supplier tracking sheets
The sheets your suppliers send get matched to projects by name and address. Whatever does not match waits in a queue for manual reconciliation.

You create the project
Materia immediately seeds it with eleven phases and twenty-six material categories with default suppliers.

Based on the construction phase and item status it proposes what to quote, what to order and who to chase.

The draft waits in the queue. You check it, adjust if needed, click. Never before that.

The reply pairs itself back to the project and item. The conversation flips to “supplier replied”.

The quote is read and compared
Materia breaks the PDF into line items and flags which lines are cheaper, on par or more expensive than the market.

If the price diverges, the planner escalates to a preparer. If it fits, you fill in the order date and the status advances on its own.

Material on site but not installed? The row turns red and the planner prepares a nudge for the coordinator.

What Materia does not do
Software that promises everything cannot be trusted on a building site. These are the limits we set on purpose.
It does not order for you
Materia never sends an email on its own and cannot do bulk sends. Every message needs a human click.
It does not decide about money
It compares the price against the market and flags the gap. Whether you accept the quote is your call — Materia just records it.
It does not replace your construction system
It only reads from Stavario. It does not run site diaries, attendance or invoicing — you have other tools for that, and Materia is not trying to push them out.
It is not a fortune teller
It does not forecast prices or dates. It works with what actually happened: dates, statuses and prices it genuinely measured.
